The Alliance for European Logistics (AEL) is a “one-of-a-kind” industry coalition representing the entire supply chain from manufacturers to retailers by bringing together companies that both provide and organise their own logistics services in Europe. ?

Launched at the 1st European Logistics Summit in November 2008, AEL builds on a shared commitment by its members to raise the profile and understanding of the logistics industry amongst European policymakers.

AEL closely collaborates with European institutions and stakeholders to raise awareness of the unique role that logistics can play in helping the EU achieve its policy goals for 2020 and beyond. AEL’s key mission surrounds creating awareness about the logistics industry and its contribution to Europe’s society and economy; along with making logistics a central part of the EU’s agenda across all policies and sectors. Some of our key policy objectives include infrastructure developments, internal market, decarbonising Europe and industry efficiency.
